  • Student ID Card
    All students, both undergraduates and postgraduates, receive a student ID card, which proves that they have been students for no longer than the normal period required to obtain a degree plus two years. It is valid for one academic year and entitles the holder to a discount of between 25% and 50% on tickets for buses, trains, ships, museums and art exhibitions. It is issued to students by the School Secretariats following registration at the beginning of the academic year, and requires a photograph.
  • Food services - Meal cards
    Postgraduate students at the NTUA can apply for meal card at no cost. The selection of those who are entitled to receive food services free of charge is made based on current legislation and student ranking i.e. those with the lowest personal and family income.
  • Housing allowance
    Housing allowance is provided to students who study and live in a city other than their main place of residency and also meet other requirements such as low family or personal income, citizenship, academic id etc., set by the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports.
  • Music Department
    The music department of the NTUA was first established in 1960 by the Rector Alexandros Pappas and the composer Mr. Vassilis Makridis was appointed as Head of this newly founded Department. Today, it is administered by the Directorate of Student Affairs and its role is “to support the University administratively in all its activities that are related to the students’ music education and all the cultural events that the University may hold”. All University students and staff can attend Music, Theatre, and Dance lessons.
  • Department of Physical Education
    The National Technical University of Athens in its attempt to create strong-willed characters with an enhanced sense of noble chivalry and team-spirit and to promote regular exercise and healthy lifestyle has established a fully equipped sports center in the heart of Zografou Campus. The Department of Physical Education currently operates two sports’ centers: a state-of-the-art indoor gym at the Zografou Campus (near the Student Dorms) which includes a multi-purpose field with a capacity of 800 spectators and one indoor gym at the Patission Complex (Bouboulinas Building, 5th floor).
  • Healthcare Department
    Healthcare Department provides medical services to students of the University, and it also operates as a First Aid Unit. Students that study or do an internship in any EU country can issue a European Health Insurance Card so as to be fully covered in the country they temporarily reside. At the same note students who are EU citizens can issue their European Health Insurance Card at the country of their origin.
  • Technology Transfer Office
    The Technology Transfer Office of NTUA was re-established in 2020 with the aim of effectively linking the research activity of the Institution with the productive sector of the country. This connection aims both at strengthening the production and the economy of the country, but also at strengthening and expanding the research activity of the Institution, while adhering to the academic principles and ethical rules of NTUA.
  • Career Office
    The NTUA Career Office provides support to the students and recent graduates of the Institution, both during their studies and in the period following graduation—especially during the challenging phase of launching their professional careers. The Office contributes to the integration of NTUA graduates into the job market by providing information about new job openings and by organizing various events, such as Career Days.
  • Center for Psychological and Counselling Support
    The Center for Psychological and Counselling Support operates within the National Technical University of Athens, offering psychological support and psychosocial counselling services to the student population, as well as to all members of the university community. The purpose of the Center’s operation is to promote mental health through early intervention, crisis intervention, combating social stigma, creating an inclusive academic environment, and providing specialized types of psychosocial counselling services. It also aims to promote sensitization of the University’s members to mental health issues. The Center is staffed by professionals in the fields of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Social Work.
  • Accessibility Center for individuals with Disabilities and/or Special Educational Needs
    The Accessibility Center for individuals with Disabilities and/or Special Educational Needs operates as a point of reference and support, ensuring that every student at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) can participate equally in academic and campus life, with particular care for those with disabilities or special educational needs. Also, the Center cares that all student could fully develop their academic potential and actively participate in university life, within an environment of respect and inclusion.
  • Alumni Association
    The Alumni Association at the Zografou Campus serves the 40000 graduates of the University, and its job is to promote closer relations between graduates and NTUA, inform graduates about the activities of the NTUA, mutual support of graduates and the university in areas where the conditions require it.
